The Big Picture Scorecard performs calculations locally in your browser before you submit your email information. Until submission, Scorecard answers are not intentionally transmitted to muddmoney's database.

When you submit the Scorecard, information you entered and results generated from it are transmitted through our service providers and stored in our systems.

A private results link may allow a person possessing that link to reopen your results. The results page is designed not to display your name or email address. 5. Advertising and Advertising Platforms

We may advertise muddmoney through third-party advertising platforms, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

Where permitted by applicable law and the applicable platform's rules, we may provide limited first-party identifiers, such as an email address or name, through a platform's designated customer-list, matched-audience or conversion-measurement tools so that the platform may match that information to its users, measure advertising performance, exclude existing customers from campaigns or deliver advertising to an eligible audience.

We do not authorize the submission to advertising platforms of your Scorecard answers, income, asset balances, debt balances, net worth, financial grades, financial runway, transaction descriptions, transaction amounts, insurance information, financial recommendations or other detailed financial-profile information through advertising pixels, tags, APIs, custom event parameters, audience files or similar advertising tools.

Where we use website advertising technologies, we intend to limit those technologies to pages and events appropriate for advertising and measurement and not to pages that display or collect detailed personal financial information. Advertising platforms process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money.

Certain uses of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a "sale," "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws even where no money changes hands.

If we use your personal information in a manner that constitutes a sale or sharing under an applicable privacy law, you may exercise any applicable right to opt out as described in Section 13 below.

We will not knowingly use detailed personal financial information collected through our financial tools for cross-context behavioral advertising.

(h) Professional advisers, governmental authorities, counterparties to a business transaction and other persons where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business.

We require service providers to process information in accordance with the purposes for which we engage them and applicable contractual requirements.

8. Artificial Intelligence Processing

If you use a feature that categorizes uploaded financial transactions, transaction descriptions and associated amounts may be transmitted to an artificial-intelligence service provider, currently Anthropic, for automated categorization.

We use that processing to provide the categorization feature requested by you.

We do not intentionally include your name, email address, bank login credentials or full account numbers in information submitted to the AI categorization process unless technically necessary and expressly disclosed.

The AI provider's retention and use of submitted information is governed by the agreement and product configuration applicable to the service we use. We will not state that submitted information is excluded from model training unless and until that representation has been verified for the applicable service and configuration.

Do not upload information belonging to another person unless you have permission to do so.

9. Cookies, Local Storage and Similar Technologies

Our product pages may use local browser storage to maintain user preferences or incomplete form information.

Third-party or hosted pages, including Kajabi pages, may use cookies, pixels, tags or similar technologies. The technologies actually used may vary as our Services and advertising activities change.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice or choices concerning non-essential tracking technologies.

10. Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals

Some browsers offer a legacy "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard governing how websites should respond to that signal, our Services do not currently respond to legacy Do Not Track signals.

California and certain other states recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, including signals intended to communicate a request not to sell or share personal information. To the extent we are legally required to recognize such a signal and engage in activities to which that signal applies, we will treat a qualifying signal as an applicable opt-out request.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business and tax records, complying with law, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.

Subject to those requirements, our intended retention periods are:

(a) information stored as part of an active Compass or Foundations account: for the life of the applicable account or product relationship;

(b) purchase and transaction records: for the period reasonably necessary to satisfy tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention and other legal obligations; and

(c) advertising audience data: only for so long as reasonably necessary for the applicable advertising purpose and subject to the advertising platform's retention settings and requirements.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information in our possession. These measures include limiting access to persons who reasonably need the information to operate the Services, using encrypted connections where supported, and using private or difficult-to-guess access links for certain user results.

No Internet transmission, database or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting private dashboard and result links in your possession.

13. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. We may continue to send non-promotional communications reasonably necessary to administer an account, purchase or request.

You may also contact support@mudd.money to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with you. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

If an applicable state privacy law provides additional rights, those rights may include the right to:

(a) know or access the personal information we maintain about you;

(b) request correction of inaccurate personal information;

(c) request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions;

(d) obtain certain personal information in a portable format;

(e) opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, where applicable;

(f) limit certain uses of legally defined sensitive personal information, where applicable; and

(g) exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

Where we are required to honor a request to opt out of sale or sharing, you may submit the request by contacting support@mudd.money. We will also recognize qualifying opt-out preference signals when required by applicable law. We may elect to honor certain privacy requests even where a particular comprehensive state privacy statute does not apply to us.

14. California Residents

California's California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies only to businesses meeting statutory criteria. Whether muddmoney is subject to all provisions of the CCPA may depend upon, among other things, its annual revenue, the volume of California consumer information it handles and its practices concerning sale or sharing of personal information.

If and to the extent the CCPA applies to us, California residents have the rights provided by that law, including applicable rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and applicable rights concerning sensitive personal information.

For the categories described in this Privacy Policy, we may collect identifiers; customer and commercial information; Internet or electronic activity; professional or employment-related information supplied by you; financial information supplied by you; and inferences generated from that information.

We do not use or disclose legally defined sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit unless this Privacy Policy and any required notices state otherwise.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act for you and may separately verify your identity.

15. Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the Services from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact support@mudd.money.

16. International Users

muddmoney is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transmitted to, stored in and processed in the United States and other countries in which our service providers operate.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to, integrate with or depend upon third-party websites, platforms or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Privacy Policy does not control their independent processing.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the Effective Date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice.

Your use of the Services following the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy is subject to the updated policy, except to the extent applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
